American EMI Solutions Announces Certification for MIL-DTL-83528C Conductive Elastomers

HAVERHILL, Mass., August 15, 2009 –American EMI Solutions announced today, they have received approval to manufacture and sell Conductive Elastomers conforming to the requirements of MIL-DTL-83528C.  American EMI Solutions is approved for Mil DTL-83528 Types A, B, D, M and K.  Eleven other Conductive Elastomer materials round out the offering.

American EMI Solutions is a wholly owned division of New England Die Cutting (NEDC).  The owners Kimberly and David Abare are veterans in the EMI Shielding and Die Cutting Industry with over half a century of experience.  The business is headquartered in Haverhill, MA and occupies over 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.  Its manufacturing facilities are ITAR Registered with the US State Department, ISO 9001:2008 certified, and Woman-Owned certified.

Kimberly Abare, CEO of American EMI Solutions stated, “American EMI Solutions was created to provide vertical integration of Conductive Elastomers and reduce our dependence on current suppliers.  Our Elastomers are all produced in the US at our Haverhill facility.  With many companies moving production of these materials offshore, we feel the timing is right for us to provide EMI shielding products which are produced locally.”
